Simion started Reloved Upholstery and Design in 2014 and has produced some stunning renovations of iconic chairs, such as original Arne Jacobsen Egg™ chairs and Parker Knoll Statesmans. Simion's work has been sold across the globe and is currently in situ in restaurants, hotels and, of course, people's homes. He was trained in Manchester by master craftsman, Dennis Gilligan, and uses traditional tools and methods but produces his chairs using modern, high-quality fabrics and materials. He says his biggest influence is British design icon, Vivienne Westwood.

One-to-one Upholstery and Sewing Tuition
If you’ve got a tricky upholstery project you’re looking for that extra bit of advice with, this could be for you.
Would you like to brush up your sewing skills with one-to-one tuition?
Here’s the answer! Simion is now offering one-to-one tuition from his creative workshop - Reloved Works, based in the iconic Pear Mill in Stockport, just outside Manchester.
You may have spotted the studio on the Tele, as it pops up on the BBC’s Money for Nothing where Simion gets to regularly showcase his Upholstery expertis.
Sessions start with a minimum of 3 hours, enabling you to really get stuck into your project, and Simion will be on hand to assist and offer advise every step of the way.
